Are you interested in utilizing a local energy company’s rebate program? We can help! Most utilities offer incentives for you to upgrade your lighting to more efficient LED fixtures. Although every program is different, we can help you navigate and determine the right program for you.

Retrofit & Fixture Opportunities
Shepherd Electric has been heavily involved with the “Energy Solutions for Business” program offered by BGE.
This program focuses on replacing lighting fixtures with energy efficient lamps and fixtures. The program requires an application and worksheet to be completed, along with a pre-approval from the plan administrator.

BGE & PEPCO
Shepherd Electric is one of only a few distributors authorized to offer our commercial customers Instant Lighting Discounts on qualified reduced wattage fluorescent lamps, LED lamps, and LED recessed retrofit kits. In 2017, Shepherd Electric helped provide our customers $540,057 in incentives and reduce energy consumption by 6,986,519 kWh through the BGE Instant Savings for Business Program.
